Cardi B does not believe in keeping a great handbag hidden in the closet. The Grammy-winning rapper gave her TikTok followers a close look at her latest designer purchases, and the collection came with some staggering prices.

In the August 22 TikTok video, the “Please Me” rapper said the bags were purchased “over the previous five weeks.” The haul included pieces from Chanel, Bottega Veneta and Hermès, collected during an international shopping run. Reports have estimated the total value at more than $187,000.

The video also felt unmistakably Cardi. She talked viewers through each purchase with the same energy she brings to her fashion posts, mixing jokes with genuine excitement. Some bags were loud, some were practical by her standards, and several cost as much as a new car.

Cardi B’s Chanel Haul Starts With a Bag She Almost Missed

There was also a story behind the purchase. Cardi explained that she had bought a matching outfit months earlier and later tried to get the bag. She missed her chance because Jordyn Woods reached the store about 30 minutes before her and grabbed the last one.

The 30-year-old star rapper eventually secured the bag, so the story had a very expensive happy ending. She followed it with a black Chanel Maxi Flap Bag priced at $9,300. She described the black version as an everyday bag and admitted that she also wants it in green.

Cardi then pulled out a forest-green Bottega Veneta shoulder bag purchased in Paris. The textured Large Campana style has been reported at around $6,700. Even at that price, it was far from the most expensive piece in the video.

The real price jump arrived when Cardi moved into Hermès territory. Her collection already has a reputation for rare Birkins and Kellys, so adding several exotic leather pieces was not exactly a surprise. Still, the bags in this haul stood out.
One rose-colored alligator mini Hermès bag has been estimated at between $25,000 and $35,000 on the resale market. Cardi explained that she already had a larger version and wanted the smaller size too.

Another Hermès piece came in grey matte Mississippiensis alligator. Cardi showed off the unworn bag and described it as a great choice for the transition from summer into fall. The neutral shade was noticeably calmer than some of the brighter pieces surrounding it.

Then came the bag that grabbed the biggest headlines. Cardi showed a bright green Hermès mini in Jaune Bourgeon alligator, reportedly valued at $44,100. Some reports identify the piece as a Mini Kelly, while others describe it as a Mini Birkin, but its reported price makes it the standout purchase from the haul.
