Here’s another Friday quickie for you guys: Help us ID this plant!
We have a community garden plot which occasionally gets seedling donations. We received this mysterious plant recently in an unlabelled pot! I have a pretty good idea of what it is, but we won’t know for sure until a few months from now.

I’m not a gardener but I’m thinking broccoli or cauliflower. With the light leaves, my actual guess is cauliflower. It would be cool having a mystery plant, not knowing what it will turn into until it starts to develop.

It looks like cauliflower to me! I would just like to toot my own horn and say that I *could* ask my dad (he’s a botanist!) but I didn’t.
I’m going brussel sprout.
I was going to guess broccoli or cauliflower, but since those are taken, I’ll go with my next choice: cabbage?

Looks like it could be kohlrabi.
It’s definitely a brassica. I’m going to go with Brussel sprouts. They tend to be a bit taller as seedlings than the other brassica.
I’d guess broccoli or cauliflower, but I really have no idea.
