For the past several months, I’ve walked by a new brewery that was being built and eagerly awaiting it’s completion. On my way home from work earlier this week, I finally noticed they were open! Naturally I stopped by and had some of their beer! There are about 4 or 5 different craft/nano breweries opening up across Vancouver, so I hope to support as many as possible. It is really encouraging to see the food and drink culture in this city evolve – there are constantly new, amazing places to eat and drink! This brewery in particular is located a few blocks from my neighborhood and surrounded by industrial type buildings. But, the place was packed with the after work crowd enjoying a beverage. I love the sense of community a place like this can generate.
