Spread the love

After all the times we’ve moved in the past five years, this morning we repaid some karma and helped a friend move. We even scored a free BBQ, as an upgrade from our current free BBQ. I love free upgrades. Apparently Burnaby didn’t get the memo to melt all the snow as there is still lots on the ground out here from the winter storm earlier in the week.

Despite my best efforts to avoid the mall this week, there are still a few things to pick up. So, we’re about to head off and brave the weather and the people to finish everything off! We both started 10 days in a row off today, and plan to spend a lot of time exploring our new neighbourhood. There are so many places to eat, drink and have coffee and I can’t wait to explore. We’re staying close to home this year for the holidays to enjoy our new place!

It was pretty bad that day last week with the snow. I bussed to work because I didn’t want to risk getting my car stuck on the road lol. Feel bad for people with sports cars and RWD. Glad you’re enjoying your guy’s new place. Thanks for the mention. Have a great new year 🙂
