Sooooo getting back from Seattle on Monday, coupled with new job, coupled with the class I’m taking, coupled with Brian being away on business means that I was a bad, bad blogger this week. :/ I’ve even been procrastinating about replying to comments left on some of my freelancing gigs. *hangs head*
I do have a few blogs “in-progress” so I’ll be getting those up in the coming week.
Seattle was not as satisfying as it usually is, but the concert I attended was AMAZING. Throughout the whole show, I kept thinking to myself – “These are the moments I live for”. I felt so alive.
But being alive does not equal being a productive writer! So in the mean time, please check out these links from people who were not as lazy as I was this week:
- Frugal Zeitgeist talks briefly about a guy who found $45,000 in his house… and then gave it back to the previous owner. I’m of the opinion that if you bought something and it *happens* to have a giant wad of cash in it – finders keepers. Maybe it’s selfish of me?
- Mike at Money Smarts Blog blogs about Toronto’s new bike rental service. I hadn’t heard of this before! I think it’s a great idea, but I do live in Vancouver – city of bike lines and backyard chickens. 🙂 I would like to see this service come to Vancouver.
- Isn’t it nice when you can have a smug, self satisfied moment? Lifehacker suggests doing something that I have done for years – using a paper towel to keep your vegetables fresher for longer. Works great for broccoli and lettuce in particular! Try it!!!!
