Updates: March 31 – April 6

Guess what? It’s time for another Davis Cup weekly update! Thanks to Canada beating Spain a few months ago, we’re into the Quarter Finals this weekend. Somehow, Vancouver struck the jackpot again – not only is Canada hosting the tie, it’s in Vancouver again. This time, I didn’t pass up the opportunity to grab tickets. I’ll be heading there tomorrow, and after each team won a match yesterday, it’s guaranteed to mean something! I’m pretty excited, but have resigned myself to the fact that most people don’t find tennis that interesting.

In other news, we’ve decided to go ahead with trying to rent out the condo again. Our Realtor gave us a very fair assessment and her opinion was that we wouldn’t really gain anything by selling right now and would just break even. So, I’m headed over there this afternoon to take some pictures and we’ll put up an ad tonight. A little later in the month than I was hoping, but in Vancouver I still think we’ll find someone for May 1.

Here’s a list of some of our favourite posts of the week:

  • I missed this from You Only do this Once last week, but it caught my eye. I rarely watch TV anymore for ‘something to do’. Check out 14 things to do besides watch TV to figure out how you can cut the cord too!
  • NZ Muse reviewed five food apps – many of them are NZ specific, so I might have to check that out when I’m down there. I’ll likely just go straight to the source and get first hand info on where I should eat!
  • Mo Money Mo Houses provided some tips for the beginning blogger. I would add networking as an important aspect, but other than that it’s a good list!

Thanks to everyone who included us this week:
