Nothing beats the New Year than a new look! If you’ve been a long-time reader of The Outlier Model, then you’ll certainly notice the new look and branding. I hope you like it! 😉
Over their two years of blogging, CF and Brian managed to write over 439 posts, with over 4170 comments. They were also able to build up a sizeable social media following, with over 1178 Facebook fans, and 1885 Twitter followers. That is certainly an achievement, and I think they did a great job!
When Brian and CF transferred ownership of their blog to me in mid December, I also decided I wanted to give the site a new look, to go along with A Fresh Start. But lo and behold, the best laid plans of mice and men did not come to fruition. I ended up with full-time shifts at work, and my trusted friend (my laptop) decided to pack it in. Without a computer, full-time work, and Christmas approaching, re-branding The Outlier Model was definitely a low-priority and left on the back burner.
Fast forward to January with a new computer and a new look! I hope you like the theme, which is also a responsive design. That means its mobile friendly, and can be viewed on virtually any device. Be sure to say hello and let me know what you think! 😉
For those of you who don’t know me, I am also the blogger and writer behind the Dividend Ninja. I retired from the web design industry back in 2010, after running a successful design company for over six years. So looking for a designer wasn’t too difficult. Other than my time, re-branding and designing, the process didn’t cost me a cent. But more importantly, I’m pretty happy with the new design, and looking forward to building up the site!
I also wanted to extend a big thank you to all of you (loyal readers,) who have continued to follow and support The Outlier Model.
