It’s a beautiful weekend in the middle of a May ‘heat wave’ in Vancouver. It’s only in the mid 20’s, but it feels like summer and we’ll definitely be visiting the beach this afternoon. After we plant some stuff in our garden, of course! For a not-so-summery distraction, we’re in the middle of the first round of the Stanley Cup playoffs. Which, as a Canucks fan, is usually a painful thing. They’re not disappointing, after an overtime loss to San Jose last night, I have little hope left. Soon, my attention will be turning to hoping the Leafs lose in as many or fewer games than the Canucks!
