Updates: December 2 – 8
Last week of no internet! I’m sitting in a Starbucks across from my house right now – we’ve frequented this location multiple times over the past week to hook up. This included a VERY early morning trip at 5am on Tuesday for what I thought was the best daily deal Starbucks has on offer. Last year, they sold a special reusable coffee mug which allowed you to get free coffee when you used the mug all through January. We missed out last year because they flew off the shelves! Sadly, the deal was only available in the US this year – damn you Starbucks Canada! I want those three hours of sleep back!

In their defense, I did ask at a Starbucks the day before if it was happening and they said yes, referring me to a list of the full daily deals. If I had actually taken the time to look closely, I would have seen that the tumbler only came with a bag of coffee! Stupid Brian…
Like everyone at this time of year, we’ve got a busy weekend of Dim Sum, IKEA, James Bond and holiday parties on the schedule. This is why I’m in a Starbucks at 7:30am on a Saturday!

- Eyes on the Dollar gets a jump on some New Year’s Resolutions with her December Goals.

Starbucks right across the street? Nice! We use to live in a townhouse that was right beside a Starbucks as well. Didn’t really notice how nice that was until we moved away.

Congrats on settling in your new place and everything. I like the smell of roasted coffee beans but I don’t actually drink coffee myself. I prefer warm milk instead
I’m indifferent to the taste of coffee, but I just never got into making it a routine

I think Starbucks is having some type of 14 days of deals but maybe that’s in the US only
Are you able to sign up for starbucks account online using a gift card? You get a free drink on your birthday and if you have multiple gift cards well…. haha
It always pisses me off when things are only available in the USA. I mean, if we are privy to the advertisements then I think we should be able to get the product.

I wake up that early on the majority of mornings, but I’d not be happy to go without the interest (especially as a blogger!). I’m glad you enjoyed your local Sbux though. I love those guys (most of the time)!
