Updates: August 26 – September 1
We’re a little slow on the update this week due to a number of Labour Day activities. On Friday, we met up a few other local bloggers; Modest Money, Mo’ Money Mo’ Houses and Freedom Thirty Five Blog. A very entertaining evening, highlighted by Jeremy taking a quick swim after dark in the ocean!
Saturday morning we headed up to Whistler with a couple of CF’s co-workers from Arizona – it was fun playing tour guide to a couple that had never seen snow-capped mountains in the summer. We had a great time eating, drinking and even went for a horseback trail ride this morning.
I’m sure everyone else is out enjoying the great long weekend weather and has much better things to do than read blogs, but if you’re stuck indoors then here’s a few to keep you entertained:

Thanks for the mention Brian. It was good meeting up on Friday. In all honesty the water wasn’t very cold, but the alcohol could’ve had something to do with that. Swimming in Tofino yesterday was wayyy colder and that was in the sun.
